I’m Uncertain About How Much He Really Feels For Me!

Being a woman can be really challenging, especially when you’re trying to figure out if a guy is into you. Questions like “Does he like me?”, “Is he serious?”, and “What does the future hold?” often circle in a woman’s mind. It’s tough to distinguish reality from what you want to believe, especially when you have strong feelings for someone. So how can you truly know if he likes you?

Some guys are very expressive about their feelings, while others are more reserved. It might sound cliché, but actions always reveal the truth. Think of it like having a job you dislike: when the manager is around, you work diligently, but when they’re not watching, you might slack off or chat with coworkers. The same principle applies here—it’s nearly impossible to pretend all the time.

Here are a few guidelines to help you gauge his feelings:

1. Does he show you respect?

2. Has he introduced you to his family and friends?

3. Is he willing to make adjustments for you?

4. Do you feel content and at ease in this relationship?

5. Is your status in his life clearly defined, such as being called his girlfriend?

6. Do you discuss plans for the future together?

7. Do you spend meaningful time together, and does he include you in important events like birthdays, family gatherings, and work functions?

These examples aren’t definitive because different individuals and external factors can influence the situation. For instance, if your partner lives in another country, you might not have met their family yet. One often overlooked factor is that respect starts with self-respect. If you can’t manage your emotions and prioritize love over your own self-respect, you could end up in a difficult situation. Here are some signs that he might not be as interested:

1. He rarely initiates contact—you’re usually the one reaching out!

2. He avoids calling you his girlfriend!

3. He hasn’t introduced you to his friends and family yet;

4. He visits your place, but you’re never invited to his;

5. He occasionally disappears without explanation

6. He puts little to no effort into your birthdays, Valentine’s Day, and other important events.

As Hailee Steinfeld’s song says, “I love myself, no, don’t need anybody else.” If you feel that he’s not committed or doesn’t treat you right, that’s okay—there are plenty of men out there who will. Having a boyfriend is not a necessity. You’re better off on your own than being disrespected by someone who isn’t right for you. Don’t force or try to persuade a man to do things; let him show who he truly is naturally. This is something my mom taught me. And always remember, if he truly cares for you, it will show in his actions, not just his words!
