Overcoming Nervousness and Embracing Confidence.
If you spot a woman you’re interested in, take the chance to approach her. I recall an evening when I was at a bar with friends, enjoying drinks and dancing. Suddenly, a guy tapped me on the shoulder and politely introduced himself. He mentioned his friend, who was too shy to approach me directly, was interested in buying me a drink and possibly getting my number. Initially taken aback by the indirect approach, I politely declined. However, moments later, another guy approached me, explaining that his friend had asked for my number on his behalf earlier. Despite his initial nervousness, we ended up having a great conversation, and I found him genuinely funny.
The point here is that initial nervousness is natural, but often unnecessary. Some people may react rudely, but that’s just part of life. It’s essential to keep trying until you succeed. Here are some key considerations before approaching a lady:
1. Embrace authenticity. Simply be yourself and avoid pretending to be someone you’re not.
2. Show confidence without arrogance. Women are attracted to confidence, so trust in yourself and don’t fret.
3. Avoid being pushy, but maintain a positive outlook on your chances. If things don’t work out, gracefully move on. There are plenty of other opportunities with different women.
4. Instead of immediately asking for a number, initiate with a brief introduction and engage in some light conversation.
5. Offer compliments sincerely, avoiding any sleazy overtones. Some men tend to excessively focus on a woman’s appearance, but it’s important not to fall into that category.
Now, all you have to do is keep an eye out for a girl you’re interested in and make your move. Wink! Always keep in mind that if a girl says no, it’s entirely her loss. SMILE. If a woman is rude or dismissive, don’t let it dampen your spirits. Unfortunately, some individuals lack manners, but that’s just a part of life. Let such encounters serve as a reminder that if she’s rude, she’s not the right girl for you.
