While researching for this article, I interviewed several men to understand their views on the matter. Here are the reasons they shared for their discomfort with a woman’s extensive sexual history:

- It hurts their pride and ego, making them feel uneasy.
- They want to see you as a prize, which is difficult if many others have dated you.
- It leads to a lack of trust, as you appear too interested in the opposite sex.
- They worry about what other men will say when they’re with their peers, fearing ridicule.
- It seems less feminine.
- It appears to be cheap.
Let me clarify: not all men share the views mentioned above, and some aren’t concerned about your dating or sexual history. This article aims to provide insight into the male perspective and help understand why some men think this way.
